Made from long-fibre USA Pima cotton and rayon, this 10oz loopwheeled fabric is slowly knitted using vintage loopwheel machines. The outer has a rough and very mild, uneven hand feel, and the interior has been brushed to give it a texture like fine cashmere. The colour is yarn-dyed rather than anti-dyed as was the methods used in the 1920s, which will age to a vintage look with wear and washes. Because of the traditional dying method, the natural colour of the cotton on the interior will slowly reveal itself!
Construction-wise, this pullover has beautiful vintage details throughout. With a double layered hoodie, kangaroo pocket hand warmer, and V-inserts in the front to reinforce the collar, just like the training sweats from the 1920s, to hold their shape better with wear. The whole sweatshirt is finished with ‘Four-Needles-Construction' in a vintage way, with ribbed cuffs and hem.
